Marvelous Chester is one of English history's utmost gifts to the present-day visitor. It investigates Chester's fertile and eclectic history, beginning with the leading collection of Roman gravestones in the country. Toward the back is a well-maintained Georgian dwelling, complete with a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom and lavatory.
Roman Soldier Patrols. The Chester Visitors' Center offers an extensive assortment of walking tours, which depart from both centers. The tours last for about two hours and are ideal if you are in the company of children.
